Frequently Asked Questions
Having trouble with the app? Find answers below, or reach us directly.
Check your Spam / Junk folder — the sender is no-reply@nysc.online.
Make sure the email you entered is exactly the one you used during NYSC registration.
Tap Resend OTP in the app and wait up to 2 minutes.
Try switching between WiFi and mobile data, then request again.
OTP codes expire after 10 minutes. If you waited too long, request a fresh one and enter it immediately.
Check your Call-up Number against your call-up letter — make sure every digit and slash matches exactly (e.g. NYSC/2026/1234567).
Confirm the email address is the one you used during NYSC mobilisation, not a personal email you created later.
If both are correct and the error persists, your record may not have been uploaded yet. Contact support using the details below.
On the PIN screen, tap "Forgot PIN" or "Reset PIN". The app will send a fresh OTP to your registered email to verify your identity. After verifying, you can set a new 6-digit PIN.
If there is no reset option on screen, contact support — an admin can reset it from the dashboard.
An older version of the app is conflicting with the new install.
Go to Settings → Apps → NYSC Security → Uninstall.
Download the APK fresh from nysc.online.
Open the downloaded file and install again.
Android requires permission to install apps from outside the Play Store.
When the warning appears, tap Settings → Allow from this source, then press back and tap Install. You only need to do this once.
If the download itself won't start, try using Chrome instead of Samsung Internet or another browser.
This option only appears in Safari. If you're using Chrome or another browser, it won't show.

Your account is linked to your old phone. To transfer it:
Contact support (details below) to request a device reset — they'll clear the old phone from your account.
Once reset, open the app on your new phone and log in with your Call-up Number and email OTP.
You'll set a new PIN on the new device.
Force-close the app and reopen it.
Check your internet connection — the app needs data to load.
